He is a speed bump for the totalitarianism the shitlibs want to impose in every country not because he's particularly great on civil liberties and free speech but because he won't cooperate with the international censorship effort already in place in the EU, Brazil and China that ban entire social media sites and imprison people for the content of their speech. Trump's authoritarian censorship impulses are at least limited in scope to specific topics like Israel and deporting foreign students for protesting against Israel which is unlawful btw but he won't attempt to create a disinformation governance board or force social media companies to adopt hate speech and "misinformation" laws on every topic under the sun.
