Democracy is a failure

Ever since I left the political scene in 2018, I began to realize something: votes mean nothing. They carry no power. They lost their power when the population grew beyond 1% of what it is. Why? A world of overabundance is unsustainable, especially when the currencies are controlled by a select few(looking at you, federal reserve). What does this have to do with the power of the vote? As the amount of currency in circulation grows, families grow, decreasing the value of the currency, and then the cycle repeats. What finally placed the ticking time bomb is the advent of the information age. With easy access to information, anyone can learn anything, even false information. People will pick up anything that fits their beliefs, then turn their circle into an echo chamber. It's quite sad. It becomes worse when you realize that platforms adapt to keep their users coming back for more; people look at something once, then the platform selects similar stuff to keep them on the platform.

Confirmation bias, the ultimate weakness of the mind

Other times, platforms try to force their morals on people through moderation. You don't support LGBTQIASEGTYSDGZSDFG? Banned. You support Trump? Banned. Communism? Banned. Those are just a few examples, though there may be countless others.

Around the time of writing this, Youtube and Twitter are forcing news of the president being ill to the front page, even if that person doesn't care or wants to opt out. This feeds the "I don't want to hear this, but no other platform is as active or has what I want" cycle.

It is he who controls the information that people receive that controls the government.

So what can be done? Clearly, taking power away from the people would never work and would be a terrible idea in the long run. How about a government type where it's not controlled by the masses, but by the most suitable among the masses? Those without moral obligations, predispositions, and prejudices. They are the most suitable. I wonder if there's a government type like that... One that would work well in the modern age...
