It's encouraging to see Bitcoin being made available at so many ATMs! Making it just as easy for people to obtain and use as other forms of money is ultimately what will drive mass adoption and speed growth. There are a few Bitcoin ATMs where I live, in Tokyo, but they are still rare oddities. I hope other countries will follow Switzerland's example.

Yes i be happy that we are not a part of European Union and we can realize such Innovations. Im sure a lot of Peoples from Boarder Country will come to Boarder Citys and Buy Bitcoins. European Union are not so Openminded like us Gouverment. Bt we are in the middel of Europa! No one Restriction from EU will work so long Peoples can buy in my Country without Problems!

Are there any EU regulations that would make this impossible? I think the laws are pretty much harmonized in the EU and "associated" countries (including Switzerland and Norway), the requirement that one should have a Swiss telephone number and the 500 CHF max limit seems to be consistent, if not worse of the requirements applying to many EU ATMs

No EU has no rights in Switzerland. We have a lot Contracts with EU called "Bilateral Contracts" that meets all Trading Goods Taxes Banking EU/EFTA Peoples they like to Study or work by us and much more. But this ATM Suprise present from SBB meets obly Switzerland. I think about it wehn EU make some Restrictions against Cryptocurrency... im Sure EU need much more Time to Accept it. So EU Ppl they live in the near from Boarder will use this service from SBB Frequently.. We have a second Provider for 2 Ways ATM. There has no KYC Rules and it is allowed to sell Bitcoins up to 2500.- chf Cash per day per Wallet!!! No Verification needed
