Be open minded, unless I disagree with it

My first inconsistency I will start with is the completely hypocritical stance on being open minded.

One of the largest ideas behind the liberal belief is to be open minded and accepting of all views. They lead the way for gay rights, removing God, the idea that you can change your gender(that its not based on biology), pro-abortion, white privilege, and many more controversial topics. I am not writing to speak for or against those ideas at this time. But instead to point out if you are against those things, you come under ridicule and hate. Some how if you disagree with gay marriage you automatically hate gay people, which just isn't true. (Due to this many keep their mouth shut if they are against these positions and oddly enough this is why, in my belief polls showed Hilary Clinton would easily win the election but in reality many silent voters picked Trump).

Perhaps the best example of this is the owners of a baker shop in Oregon who chose not to make a wedding cake for gay couple due to religious beliefs. If they own the shop they should be able to sell to whom they choose. I would go so far as to say that if you wanted to discriminate against other races or religions within your business you should be able to(I am not racist nor think being racist is alright but if people wish to be that is their choice, unless they cause harm to others). I believe the consequences should come from the market, not the government.

And how much hatred was there for people that simply voiced they were voting Trump. Twitter and facebook explode with evil things said to those who supported him. Even to the point where some people said hurricane Harvey was karma for Texas voting trump. Even though, mother nature didn't distinguish when it came through. Why would you want people to suffer and die because of what they belief....that fixes nothing, only creates more animosity. Be open minded and have discussions.
