For how terrible everything is going in politics today, I was happy to see the amount of informed grievences people had on reddit

While politicians selling out to lobbied interests is nothing new, the fcc removing net neutrality is an even more egregious offense. Because only a tiny fraction of people (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Qwest,etc..) will benefit while the 320 million+ internet users in America will be the ones hurting from it. The internet even in my tiny lifetime has transformed life around me, we are living in the emergence of a new era akin to the industrial revolution, and the green revolution. Releasing all control to the internet providers will stifle growth and inhibit the full potential of this still emergent technology we've all grown to love.
