RE: The End Of The World - As We Know It! | Owen Benjamin and Stefan Molyneux
It's like porn for people who aren't confused!
It's really sad that some people interpret gifts and excellence as a threat. It's like they live in fear, so other people having skills must be something that would be turned against them somehow.
And then, I guess it's easy to see how the anti-male attitude creeps in -- males are more likely to deviate from the norm, so they'll more often have big skills and need to be contained or regarded as the threat.
In a weird way that's almost comforting, like that it isn't random, but just a natural function of the program of hating on people who stand out.
Thanks for sharing.
Thought porn, haha, and I agree with you and Owen and Molyneux, that we can see the world through a power system or maybe a merit system. Steem is helping people of like mind unite. And it is good for us to be able to debate and get together and figure things out.
Was home taught by my mom. As a kid, I would ask her questions. Later on, my mom would say that I was asking questions about life that she never thought about and I started thinking about philosophy a little bit when I was ten. it was good I was not seen as a threat to my mom. I'm 33 now.
