President Duterte on giving up his presidencysteemCreated with Sketch.

If you're the new president of a country ruled by corrupt and narco-politicians, who protect drug-lords; having human rights groups who are more concern of the lives of drug addicts and criminals; having an opposition who is sour-graping for losing in the 2016th presidential election; having an Islamist group who is allegedly being helped by the CIA in causing a war that is still ongoing, what can a president do?

Perhaps offer an ice cream instead?

He is teaching Presidents how to do it....!

He does, doesn't he? Who's listening to him?@bennydelacruz

if he weren't making an impact ...they wouldn't be bothering him.

well..a lot of businesses are surely losing money while he's the president..esp as he is pro-poor.i will need your help soon, still in the planning stage.

I like what president Duterte is doing. Similar to what Indian PM Modi is doing. These two countries are progressive. I wish them luck.

Go go go PM Modi and President Duterte!!

Duterte has to be tough. What other options has he? Criminals know his stance on crime and drugs etc...they have choice. They choose to gamble with their lives. So be it. The world is much better off without them.

Tell that to those human rights groups who oppose him. And their victims have got no rights since they're dead, raped and butchered.

Wow brother, excellent post charm me! Vote for my comment, you would be helping me a lot, thanks

He's only doing what he promised during the campaign. A lot of the proponents of those fake human rights groups are sponsored or connected to the losing faction of the 2016 elections. They have to find something wrong to throw at Duterte to tarnish his reputation and prevent him from garnering more (or sustain the) support from the Filipino masses. If they truly believe that the criminals deserve to live after the heinous crimes said criminals did, then why don't they adopt addicts, rapists, and murderers. Let those humans live with their family in their own houses. See if they don't cower in fear for their own lives.

the human rights groups are there for a reason, somebody needs to protect the runners of crimes and drugs to feed money to some people.
its a cycle.Rehabilitate the users, put to jail the drug dealers, druglords and protector Hopefully, these measures will be effective so that some greedy people will go on a diet.

Wow! What proof do you have that the CIA is assisting Islamic terrorism in the Philippines? That is a serious allegation!

Very serious, isn't it? Do u think that Filipinos seeing caucasian men in Mindanao who are acting strange years before this war had easily labelled them as CIA and accused them as helping the ISIS group? They are stating it as a fact in some social media..so allegedly they are?

So all speculative? That's how rumors get started!

Will CIA personnel admit they work for CIA? Who are just flying their drones in Mindanao? Some Filipinos believe they are and blatantly talk about it in social media. Anything is possible. Just like w/ most people internationally believing that the CIA is arming the Syrian rebels. They're everywhere online, in youtube etc.
