TRUMP FILES: Mutually Assured Destruction and Trump's Interest in Dropping Nukes is the Next Controversy

in #politics8 years ago (edited)

I have never seen a panel stop talking.

With his fantasy-like delusions, I wouldn't be surprised if he used nukes to negotiate.

But what Trump doesn't understand is something called Mutually Assured Destruction. An accidental nuke attack could possibly avert this, but not one that is purposeful. The window to react is so short and narrow that automatic systems would kick in.

I wonder if he is thinking in terms of a bomb dropping a nuke like Hiroshima, or ballistic nukes? Either way, MAD is a serious possibility here.
