A Goddamn Real American!
I want to share this video with the community because I want people to see that this is the face of America. Too many Americans are looked down upon by our elected officials like this man, Randy Bryce, because of who they are or what they do or where they are from. Yet, our congressman and senators love using people like Bryce for political aesthetics.
Most of our congressman and senators in D.C. and practically everyone in our president's cabinet - including the president himself - do not understand what it means to work hard. They do not understand what it means to be hungry. They have never experienced having to decide whether they should pay their water bill or electricity bill. They have never had to decide whether they should undergo chemotherapy or just die because their health insurance won't cover their therapy - and come to the conclusion that death would be a better outcome than being alive and saddled with over 100k of medical bills.
They do not understand the meaning of sacrifice.
Randy Bryce is a long shot from overthrowing Paul Ryan, but goddamnit... would this not be wonderful if he or someone else like him - people like him from across the country - start challenging their current elected officials who have done nothing for them - the people - who really need their government now more than ever to work for them and not the damn wealthy 1%.
America is a great country, and the life I have lived here is a better quality of life than what I would have had in my home country in the Philippines. Yet, I am not blind nor ignorant to the fact of the shitty people we have running our country.
If by some miracle Randy Bryce wins, he certainly would not stink of the shit from the current Swamp in D.C.
Good luck, Randy Bryce.
Very moving video. We definitely can do so much better. Thanks for sharing @jamjam
Yes we can. I'm very hopeful for the future @runrudy
If I still lived in Wisconsin, I would vote against Paul Ryan all day everyday. (Is that allowed? Probably not. You know, just one vote, then.)
Only if that were possible...I'm there with you @improv
I believe more Americans are starting to wake up to the reality of how things are - there's a silver lining to all this chaos :)
