SHUTTING DOWN The Federal Justice System with Jim Bell

In this video, I talk with Jim Bell, a noted essayist and cryptoanarchist who has spent 13 years in prison and has studied the law to exhaust. A man against taxation, for underground payment structures to keep politicians in check and well... against government coercion against free individuals in general.

Mr. Bell has come up with a campaign to effectively shut down the Federal Justice System entirely in order to stop victimless crime and stop flooding the prison system many of you may know as the prison industrial complex.
As Jim Bell notes, Federal prisons currently house around 184,000 prisoners (not including the black sites) and this is at a typical cost of $40,000 a year per prisoner. 7.36 billion dollars total a year.

Jim says on his website that he has found the Federal Justice System "off switch" and that he intends to flick it.

75% or more of the 77,000 Federal prosecutions each year are victimless crimes. Out of that there are only about 2,500 trials. The system is built to force most defendants to simply give up.

97.3% of defendants pleaded guilty with no trial in 2016. If they do not plead guilty they are faced by an even longer sentence.

If everyone pleaded not guilty, the Federal Justice System would be unable to deal with the heavy load of trials. Instead of the in depth investigations, the Feds would be more likely to simply drop the charges.

Jim's idea is to offer each defendant around $3000 to fight the charges and plead not guilty. He believes that the Fed at the most can put on 3000-5000 trials a year rather than 77,000, therefor it's viable for the system to be shut down by an overload of not guilty pleas for victimless crimes if Jim's organization can get enough signatures.

The organization would contact all defendants using PACER.GOV. Defendants would receive $3000 if they demand and receive a jury trial. If all the defendants stick together this could be of epic scale.

If all defendants demand a jury trial, perhaps only 3,000-5,000 would get it. The rest would be able to walk free!

The problem? Getting the money which is why we did this interview. This could actually help keep thousands of people a year out of prison for victimless crimes. This could also lead to their charges being dropped entirely.

You can find Jim Bell's campaign at FedJusticeShutdown.org! You can support him with crypto or cash there!

It's all good and fine to talk about the end results we want to see, but its mighty interesting to see someone find a path to that end result.

My small question, if the present justice system is crushed, what will it be replaced with?

My thoughts exactly. I really do not want the rapists and child molesters out of the prisons. If there is a way to prevent the innocent being locked up unfairly I am all for it.

That's why I need answers from @joshsigurdson

the work is beautiful and very professioanl, im glad for that sucess , could you tell me the secret of all thoese upvots thats really impressive , im having a hard start i need some encouragment and i belive in this beautiful community

ı dont understand

In short ... the constitution of the US guarantees, under most circumstances, a trial by jury. A citizen also has Miranda rights (see Miranda v. Arizona). If 'you' cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you. That provision comes at the cost of the state. Furthermore, trials take time. Time is money.

If EVERY citizen who was arrested insisted on litigation (as opposed to arbitration or negotiation) - that would cost the state a lot of fucking $$. He thinks it would cost the state so much, they could not provide the trials. Because one has a constitutional right to this trial, if it cannot be provided in a reasonable time, then in fact, any charge would have to be dismissed. (Dismissed would mean on file with the courts BTW, so next time around, the charged you were never tried for would be in the records...fuck).

This idea is absolutely fucking absurd, because most of the people who commit petty, victimless crimes, are caught red handed and multiple trials, as we do now, would happen in a day, across all 50 states. Perhaps you have herd of a dash cam, and now there are body cams too. The defendant can't 'filibusterer' the courts by calling a million witnesses and just having them talk shit all day.

Worst, and he mentions this in the video, when you plea not guilty, and your found guilty (eventually you will be), expect to serve much more time, pay higher fines, etc. The court wants the money back they spent on that lawyer for you.

So (not that you do) if you want to be the person that was most likely caught red handed going to trial that's going to take bout a day, maybe two, getting the book thrown at em' in hopes that other people are raising their hands to be in your spot b/c "It'll shut the gov'nt dwn"... good luck to ya.

In India it's the same supreme court is getting biased in most of the cases, the governments are changing the benches to get their desired results.thats awful, and recently four of the supreme court judges came in protest to that policy but their voice didn't reach the people as media successfully crushed that with some other non sense propaganda.

I’ve always known federal
Court down there is really hardcore. The way your describing it, it almost sounds tyrannical!

7.36 billion dollars is an enormous expenditure that is spent by the state, and this can make the country a loss. as more and more criminals are going on.
