Philippine 2022 Election

It's election time and what more to expect but the sight of cultish types of groups proclaiming that their candidates will somehow be the glorious leader to move our country from the pits of hell and suffering. One thing to expect is that the atmosphere will get really messy. When I say messy, all kinds of dirty tactics will be used to gain the hearts and minds of the Filipino folk. As they say democracy is a "popularity contest", here in the Philippines, we would even elect a person so recognizable only with his skill as a fighter or in this case as a boxer. That's right as long as you got what it takes to be popular and have the people's stimuli get all excited very often, then you do have a real chance to get the highest office of the land/country. I just hope that in the next 6 years our country will finally crawl from the pits of whatever hell our country was placed in because sure hell my beloved motherland deserve so much more than politician who doesn't give jack shit to anyone and anything other than the weight of his pockets.
