Jiří Kajínek - The most famous Czech hitman

Jiří Kájínek, is the most famous Czech hitman. Back in 1998 he committed a double murder and was convicted to life in a prison. During stay in prison, he tried to flee him several times. After almost 20 years, the president of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman, granted him a grace, which lead to his release from the Mírov prison.

Jiří kájínek and his life before spending his life in prison

Kajínek had the first problems with the law as young boy in 1974. He was in prison for the first time in 1982 for burglary. In 1985, he was again convicted of house theft, after his incident he injured two police officers in the arrests, and the third he dropped the stairs. In February 1990, he was released, due to the request for remission of the rest of the sentence. In the same year he was again convicted, this time for 11 years, for a robbery attacking police officers with a gun in their hands and stealing their car.

Life imprisonment

In June 1998 he was sentenced to spend his life in prison for murder. The crime of murder (a work completed and a trial at the trial stage) was committed by shooting at least 12 shots of a Pilsen entrepreneur and his personal guardian. This murder was planned, and the person paid Kájínek 100,000 CZK to intimidate the suitor. Kajínek exceeded the order "beyond the agreement" even though he was serving an 11-year sentence for the robbery of police officers from Prague 4 at the time of the murders in which he stole his service vehicle and weapons. However, Jíří Kájínek never admitted to this act, he categorically denied his involvement in the murders.

The criminal file has more than 10,000 pages and the case has lasted for 46 days. The process was postponed several times and lasted more than four years. The judgment of the Regional Court with 130 grounds.

Miloš Zeman's mercy to Jiří Kájínek

In April 2017, President Milos Zeman said he was contemplating grace for Jiří Kajínek, although at the beginning of his term he labeled the graces of rejoicing. Later in April, President Miloš Zeman announced that in the second half of May he would sign a grace for Jiří Kajínek. Second part of grace is a seven-year condition during which no crime can be committed. Otherwise, he would return to prison. On May 23, 2017, Milos Zeman signed the grace and Jiří Kajínek was released on the same day at 13.40. He left the Prison in Rýnovice at 13:41 hours, greeted by journalists and dozens of fans who wanted to see the released prisoner alive. In connection with media interest, he became a celebrity of his kind. After rehoming he lives with his girl friend in Brno.

Movie

According to Kájínek, the Czech movie was filmed in 2010 as "Kajínek". Movie is about Jiří Kajínek and the atmosphere in the Czech Republic after 1990.
The film was viewed by 120,000 spectators for the first weekend. The total number of viewers as of April 2011 is 790,000, sales exceeded CZK 83.5 million.
