Product of the system Vs. THE System

Be afraid people, the end is nigh! Sure you don’t want to do it but you really have no choice, do you? The choice is between the guarantee that another war will happen (possibly WW3) and a character from TV doing something irrational on a whim with regards to our countries conflicts domestic or international. Wait…what?

Fear is what’s been plaguing mankind from acting in its own best interest for as long as we have been telling and recording stories. It is no different in today’s “election process”. One campaign is telling you a TV character could become the most powerful person in America and the other is telling you to be on guard against your neighbor because “things are so bad” in the states. The system is always telling you to be reactive to the dangers that lurk beneath. When fear enters the mind, rational and logical thought is usually the first to go. Arguments can be made that there are legitimate things to be cautious of, but purely fearing and reacting with a knee jerk is no way to handle the problem. Mindful actions coupled with courage is what overcomes obstacles.

The system wants you to fear, for then you will happily ask the system to make things all better. Even if you don’t like the system, you will accept the system. Fear will make you want to do anything, but have that fear come true. Now the logic has left. “Oh great powerful system, please tell me what we need to do!” “Do as I say, and you will be alright”. Does the system really ever fix anything? We have been told that our civil liberties would be restored from the “other side’s” dreadful W years provided. This was a huge lie and the civil liberties have only been more removed from us. This is one small example of how the system panders then continues with business as usual.

The Product of the system wants you to fear. Why wouldn’t it. All this little Product has ever known was to do as the system instructed. The system provided a prime environment to raise a nice little, dumbed down, egocentric, pandering, greedy, scared product. Now the Product is all grown up and wants to run the system. Why wouldn’t the system be scared, the Product (along with many other pieces of the same product) is raising up against the system because it is afraid of the system getting worse. The system itself is so concerned that it is using every part of the system to make you afraid of the rise of this Product to power. Look how every aspect of the mainstream is seemingly saying the same thing. “You should be afraid that this Product could be president”. The system wants you to accept only what the system wants you to accept.

What to do?!! Breathe, and focus your energy. Do you want to be extorted into more of the same or do you want to vote for a wild card of the same ideology? Breathe. Can another solution be had? Breathe. Yes there are other options. “But what if (blank) becomes President!” BREATHE! It is time to stand up and courageously act according to your own set of standards. Breathe. If the System appeals to you, then continue down that path. If the Product of the system is what appeals to your standards, then please continue down that path. Breathe. If you are still not happy with either, then be a rebel and act according to your ideals. Breathe. Don’t let anyone or organization tell you otherwise. Breathe.

The first time I ever voted was for Nader in 2000. I’m voting Green again, in what might be the last election in our country. I didn’t listen to the lies about how Nader helped get W elected. First, the Supreme Court put W in power. Second, the argument was used to cast a negative shadow upon the Third/Forth Party idea. Gore in his centrist ideology and the lack of free press is what got W elected.

Libertarian candidate Johnson is a far better option for those that are more on the system’s Product side of thinking. Jill Stein of the Green party is a true progressive and a great option for all those that are against the Product and the System itself. Maybe neither will or could win. But if either get a large enough percentage, the discussion and scope of the conversation will begin to broaden. Maybe then the talks of how to really rectify current problems will be had. Maybe then, we will be offered more than what we have been. Maybe then we will see that we can choose beyond “Paper or Plastic”. F**K YOU system, I brought my own bag!

One more thing, here is a screen shot of an online poll for ABC’s news I participated in. The System has almost the lowest rating out of all. It is time for a change. We are the change we have been waiting for.
