Nope. No joke. I will grant you that the Bushes (1 & 2) were no better than the Clinton or Obama years, and that is the reason for such an enthusiastic response to Donald Trump. He's the outsider who is not beholden to either party structure.
And to be honest, as a conservative, Donald Trump has surpassed all of my wildest dreams as to what a president should be doing for this country. God Bless Donald Trump. We pray for him daily in our house.
