My thoughts on this news

This is great news for the people of California, the failed war on drugs has been ongoing for far too long. Not only do we need to legalize pot but we also need to decriminalize/legalize all drugs. That is the only way to win the war on drugs, treat it like a health issue and not a criminal issue. California has already passed a law to allow adult use of weed, now they are taking it a step further and removing criminal pot convictions that have occurred in the past. Drug users are not criminals, the only way to end this foolish war is to help people with drug problems with a single payer healthcare system. And stop wasting money on the DEA and other law enforcements, stop wasting money locking people up in prison, stop making drug cartels wealthy. All the money that is spend fighting the drug war could easily pay for healthcare for Americans.
