The hashtag #MoscowMitch quickly began trending on Twitter following Scarborough's comments. McConnell responded on Monday, decrying the attacks against him as “modern-day McCarthyism.”

My thoughts on this news

Looks like Turtle McConnell has a new nickname. He is blocking bills democrats are trying to pass to secure US elections, to make sure there is a paper trail for all elections, and electronic voting devices are more secure. Unfortunately Mitch McConnell does not like democracy, he likes oligarchy and does not want fair and secure elections, he wants elections where voting data can be altered and votes of Americans can be deleted. America is not a democracy, our voting system are vulnerable to hacking and most places do not even have a paper trail to check if votes were cast correctly. If McConnell does not want to be called Moscow Mitch all he has to do is support the bills to secure American elections, but he does not want to. The reason he does not want to, is because he know if American elections were secure and truly democratic no Republican would ever win an election again...
