How controversialists like Milo and Katie Hopkins Evade Political Assassination
Milo and Katie are notorious for saying outrageous things that rile up public tension and frustrate people. They are spurred on by the support they get from the political right to fight in favour of free speech and conservative values, but they both know how far they can push it until they are completely shut out from society.
They say a lot of hurtful things, but they are not untrammelled to speak freely all the time. Just take a look at the milo paedophile scandal, where Milo was accused of being a paedophile sympathiser. Milo attempted to take his public outrage to the next level, but was torn to shreds by the media. This was a dark and depressing time for him, and he has denounced what he has said since.
Katie Hopkins, another controversialist, is afraid of being labelled a racist, despite her willingness to openly offend people of low socioeconomic backgrounds, people with certain names, and people who are unattractive, just to name a few.
Controversialists like Katie and Milo try to be as controversial as possible without saying things that the political right would discredit, and would find hard to defend. They do not enter into any extremist position because it is economically unwise to do so. However, if this were a different time and place in history, who knows what they would advocate for…
Actually, they are not saying anything hurtfull , they are not "offending" anyone they are speaking the language of truth and it seems truth is nowdays controversial
Absolutely correct, Adam.dina.
Take some time to read Milo's book, and watch a bunch of his youtube. Perhaps listen to his podcast. Be informed, not just parroting what you might here elsewhere. If I had to suggest just one thing, read his book first. It is a hella good read.
He is offending people by definition of the word. He is actually a victim himself, and that is why he is lashing out at society now. It is interesting because it gives his life meaning. I don't necessarily disagree with him on some of his views because it balances out the hegemony the left has enjoyed for the past decade or so, but what irritates me is his stupid, vitriolic followers who hang onto his every word. I am fully aware that there are people like this in all walks of life needless to say.
Milo isn't really that bright, but he found a clear gap in the market as a gay controversialist, and he has utilised his platform to the fullest, so I have to commend his business accumen. I suggest you read some philosophy, science literature, and educate yourself before reading Milo's book.
