North Korea Censorship
“Censorship in North Korea ranks among some of the most extreme in the world, with the government able to take strict control over communications”
The West wrongly frames North Korea’s way of ruling as authoritarian and dictatorial. Internet restrictions, selective broadcasting and worship to Kim Jong-Un is all cast in a negative light. The reason why these things are good for North Korea is to prevent cultural influence… no, to prevent cultural invasion from the west. The west seeks to impose its way of life onto every developing nation. They are able to bully these developing nations due to their military prowess, but little North Korea is valiently standing up to the real evil in this world today. How could you possibly argue that North Korea is the evil in the world? It is the west that have blood on their hands. It is the west that have a long documented history of colonialism and genocide.
North Korea should have the freedom to create their own culture and history without influence from the west. The west wants to impose its culture and values on the citizens of North Korea, but they are protected from it. They instead seek to create their own history and traditions that are unique to them. This is why censorship is important to the prospeperity of North Korea.
