Thoughts on Political Violence

The only real power a Government has is force, the rest is fake power given to it by the governed. peaceful protest has historically lead to evolution of democracy, not as fast as some want because government is slow, but democracy was designed to evolve and if you look at our history that is just what has happened. Social unrest and violence in the streets is a blank check to be cashed in for a police state. Look at the past 2 yrs, riot, martial law, higher enforcement, less rights. Even pre Trump this was the case. A violent revolution will only lead to a more totalitarian state. government officials want those votes and can only get them through submission of the governed. The more social unrest the more law and order voters. this is cause and effect.

Violence repels people from the ideologies which practices it. If the end game is critical mass of the ideas of a group violence is the most ineffective way to create it. Human decency abhors Barbarism. Any revolution taken by force is not a legitiment revolution and will create opposition. True lasting revolutions are created by consent through debate and exposure of ideas and the natural rejection of deplorable ideas by the human psyche.

The endgame of antifa is totalitarian rule rather it be left or right, either way it doesnt matter, evil is evil regardless of what its wearing. So people want a totalitarian socialist state in America, Theyll end up in a Totalitarian right wing state because of the opposition they create through the means of their ends. The truth is this, as long as people dont behave civilly and create chaos the government will by its nature assume more power and use force to restore "order" which inevitably means taking away rights.

If you want true change creativity is key. The pen is mightier than the sword (or in this case the bat and bear mace). Artist throughout history have been major players in social change. If you want your ideas to promulgate your best option is to attract people to your ideas through your actions, your words and your intent. People inherently reject violence and hate so if you use violence and hate to spread what you find to be noble truths, dont be surprised when you find opposition. The KKK is despicable because it used violence and fear to achieve its goals. 20 yrs from now we will say the same about antifa if you arent saying it currently.
