• Przycięte i uformowane wcześniej drewno wkładam do formy i zalewam żywicą. Podczas tworzenia formy uważnie sprawdzam czy wszystkie szczeliny zostały dokładnie zaklejone. Tak przygotowany materiał pozostawiam na czas twardnienia (ok. 48h).

I place a piece of wood, that I’ve already cut and formed, in a form and I fil lit with resin. While creating the form I’m checking carefully whether all gaps are precisely sealed. I allow the material to harden (about 48 hours).

• Po wyjęciu żywicy z formy, markerem nanoszę zarys docelowego elementu.

After taking the resin out of the form I sketch the outline of target element with a marker.

• Usuwam nadmiar materiału piłą i szlifierką aż do uzyskania pożądanego kształtu.

I remove an excess of material with a saw and a grindstone until I reach the desired shape.

• Boki wisiorka zaokrąglam szlifierką.

I round the sides of the pendant with a grindstone.

• Do usuwania wszelkich nierówności używam gąbek ściernych o różnej gradacji – od 100 do 220.

I use sanding sponges in different gradation – from 100 to 220 - to remove any unevennesses.

• Ważnym etapem pracy jest usuwanie rys. Najlepszym narzędziem do tej czynności jest papier wodny.

Removing scratches is an important stage of work. The best tool for this action is water sandpaper.

• W trakcie polerowania korzystam także z szczotki bawełnianej i pasty polerskiej.

While polishing I use cotton brush and polishing paste as well.
