I feel like there needs to be more detail to verification. Other similar communities will require users to be holding their paper in their hand with at least one finger over the paper while the other hand makes a community symbol. I feel like this post in particular could have been produced rather than taken. Not to say that post was a produced verification but that it would be much easier to produce that kind of picture for verification than if there were stricter rules.

We agree the process can be redefined better and will put in some better mechanisms. Of course, the "person" behind it still has to do posts going forward. We'll implement some better systems going forward.

Nice observation. Now that I look at that photo a second time & take into consideration photoshop. It looks like that paper may have a fake drop shadow over it. Wow. People really are sneaky.
