Let's just say I saw tons of fireworks ;) Oh, and I saw those things that lit up the night sky and went BOOM, too!
Those are the best things ever!! If there was at least one reason to have a new year it would be them!
The fireworks will remain far longer than the humans that gaze upon them.
For what are fireworks but glimpses into the short and futile bursts of life that we are as to the old ones
And the bang are echoes of the chuckles eons past. A reminder of how fleeting life is.
Yet, like the nimble footed goat, life, seeks higher and higher goals.
Always chasing after the next best thing, such hedonism, such joie de vivre!
Joie de vivre, was indeed the name of the first one I tamed. She lived for it, till she died
