Submission to @Juliank's Portrait Contest

Monochrome, as much as I work away from it these days, has always felt completely intuitive for me. I am still working improving my color photography, as it's something I've never felt completely at home with. There is something about the silence and soul of working in black and white that I can't quite put a finger on. A difference  almost exists in my mind between color and monochrome, like the difference between appearances and truth.
