Using the Power of Positivity

What’s up steem?!

This is a subject that can be very touchy and also may be a very opinionated so my goal is to just share with you all how I cope with some of the hard times. If you think i’m crazy or don’t want to hear it, you can simply move along and find a post better for you! Even if I only touch one person or group, I hope to benefit someone through this post.

As we sail through life every single day we encounter different tasks and obstacles that often change our moods, and make for gloomy days. Growing up, I have had a ton of tragedies in my life. I won’t go into details, but we’ll just say as a 21 year old I was forced to “grow up” faster than most. Throughout the last few years of my life I have started forcing myself to live a happy life through my thoughts. I know this may sound a little weird but just bare with me.

One of my biggest pet peeves in life are those people who you’ve never met a day in your life, but they still for some reason look at you funny, or they shrug their shoulder when you wave or say hello. I CANNOT STAND IT. How much better is it when that person approaches you with a high-five or a “Hey Bud, hope your having a good day.”? That makes all the difference. You are a product of your surroundings. And that statement extends to far lengths.

Long story short, the way that you treat people is going to be a mirror image of how people treat you. The biggest thing i’ve learned in life is to treat everyone equally. Gay, Straight, Black, Blue, Big, Small, every person in the world loves a compliment or a bit of encouragement. So I challenge you, not to just be nice because i said so, but to make everyone’s life a little bit better. There is absolutely no time to be negative in life, because no matter what you are going through you are going to wake up tomorrow and have a new day full of obstacles. This will be true until your last breath. LIFE GOES ON, might as well live it with a huge smile on your face, potentially that smile is going to be contagious.
