Fun picture of the car buried below snow :) I just moved to Utah in the US and was expecting more snow this winter given that we are at nearly 5000' elevation but we have not had much snow at all. The town that I grew up in Alaska though just set a record this past week with 23 1/2" of snow in a 24 hour period and over 50" of snow over the weekend! My parents were totally snowed into their house.
OMG! Hope they were fine! Did they have to be rescued or that is normal in there? I can't even imagine how it must be to open the door and see a wall of snow!
A good Samaritan neighbor who owns a front-end loader plowed out all the driveways on their road and another neighbor with a snowblower cleared the path to the door. Small towns come together in times like that.
