RE: The Story about Henny Penny

@lizziesworld

The Husband reared point-of-lay hens until he retired and was in production: free range and battery. This is a debate to have with him: he's a real toasted marshmallow, and in favour of ethical production. He will tell you that some producers are not ethical, while others are - even with battery produced eggs. He also points out that it is a fallacy that freerange is healthier, but that's a long conversation - with him! lol

I do love the Henny Penny story, though. It reminds me of my friend, Debbie's hen, Louise, whose eggs would get sent home with me after visits to Joburg. They'd be wrapped in my undies. And, actually survivied the flight! lol

Sort:

I was brought up with free range chickens so am greatly in favour - just cannot handle the inhumane way they are farming chickens today.
Love the undies journey of your eggs!!
