Premier League Gameweek 4 Predictions

by David An

Manchester City vs. Liverpool

Liverpool are on a high after thrashing Arsenal 4-0. Man City will be a different proposition at home though. The game will be decided on the flanks how much Man City fullbacks let Mane and Salah run past them into dangerous position. An interesting cat and mouse tussle will ensue on the touch lines. Two teams aiming high in the league expect a high scoring draw in this one.

Arsenal vs. AFC Bournemouth

Arsenal will be licking their wounds after their loss prior to the international break. With former greats of the club coming out to criticise their team. Against a team that doesn't park the bus away from home expect the Gunners to restore some pride this weekend. They perform better against teams that let them play their football.

Brighton & Hove Albion vs. West Bromwich Albion

Newly promoted Brighton have yet to taste victory in their first 3 games. West Brom on the other hand are undefeated. Expect the experienced Premier League campaigners to grab a point away from home.

Everton vs. Tottenham Hotspur

Wayne Rooney's drink driving will have sullied the mood at Everton. It's not the first time drinking has gotten him into trouble when will he learn? After a slow start expect Tottenham to build momentum and their attack to click into gear.

Leicester City vs. Chelsea

Leicester are formidable at home but Chelsea have been in great form before the international break. With Leicester also losing Danny Drinkwater to their opponents expect Chelsea's midfield to dominate and carry them to a win.

Southampton vs. Watford

Watford don't travel very well and things are on the up for Southampton. With the likes of Charlie Austin returning after a long shoulder injury they will have enough firepower to get the W.

Stoke City vs. Manchester United

Expecting Manchester United to keep their form prior to the International break. Although Stoke is a hard place to visit former Manchester United legend Mark Hughes believes in attacking football. They will give Manchester United space which will be their downfall.

Burnley vs. Crystal Palace

With new signing Mamadou Sakho lining up for Crystal Palace expect their defence to be given a boost. The man was integral to their survival last season and expect them to grab a point against Burnley.

Swansea City vs. Newcastle United

Returning hero Wilfried Bony has allowed Swansea fans to bring out their old shirts of the Ivorian. Expect to see  Swansea jersey's from few seasons back this weekend. It seems to be written in the stars for him to score and win the game.

West Ham United vs. Huddersfield Town

Lost 3 and conceded 10. Rock bottom West Ham must win against newly promoted Huddersfield Town. With their star player Aaron Mooy travelling to Japan and Melbourne for Australia for World cup qualifiers, West Ham will never have a better chance to jump start their season.
