Arsenal VS Chelsea

Arsenal and Chelsea meet for the first of their three January games against each other today.
The Gunners aim to close the gap to the top four after Sunday's draw at West Brom left them six points behind the Champions League spots. They face a Chelsea side unbeaten in 14 games in all competitions.

Team news:
Arsenal's Mesut Ozil and Laurent Koscielny (Achilles) are both doubts for Wednesday's match at Emirates Stadium. Mesut Ozil remains a doubt after he was absent from Arsenal's last game of 2017 and will face a late fitness test. Nacho Monreal (ankle) and Olivier Giroud (hamstring) remain sidelined.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is expected to hand Eden Hazard a place in the starting XI. The 26-year-old star man was forced to watch the 5-0 win over Stoke from the bench but it is expected to be back. Chelsea are still without just two players, David Luiz (knee) and Charly Musonda (groin), whom Antonio Conte says could return in the FA Cup trip to Norwich City.

What the managers say?

Arsene Wenger: "Chelsea are coming back into good form. They've been consistent recently so it's a big challenge for us."

Antonio Conte: "It is very important in my plan to involve all my players, and we are doing a really good job in this situation because we are making many rotations but at the same time our results are positive."
