Great question indeed:

I absolutely think some regions will experience warmer temperatures. Even the maps from the last couple solar minima, without pole shifts, indicate that some areas (like Alaska) did get warmer. So, already, any absolute/universal statement like "It's going to be much colder" is just naive and wrong.

On the pole shift, yes, I'd say we're living through it currently. And personally, I don't think any man can answer the question of when/where it's going to land. So almost anything COULD be up for change, from sea level to seasons.

While all of that is in my circle of interest--and is fascinating as it is!--it's mort important to move towards self-sufficiency/anti-fragility. That remains the most sensible thing to do within my circle of influence.
