Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina unveils an orchid in her name on the National Orchid Gardens of Singapore Botanic Gardens, recognized as UNESCO World Heritage on Monday. Orchid has been named 'Dendroobiam Sheikh Hasina' to make Bangladesh's first Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's first visit to Singapore in Singapore.
The Prime Minister went to her first official visit to South East Asia in the invitation of Singapore Prime Minister Lee Sien Lung on Sunday.
The species of the National Flower Orchid of Singapore has been named after 'Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina', the botanic garden officials have invented 'Sunplaza Park' and 'Selter Chocolate' species, through shankarnan.
Director of the National Tree Garden of Singapore, Dr. Niagell Taylor, gave the Orchid to the Prime Minister by giving a nod to the Prime Minister. Prime Minister's younger sister, Sheikh Rehana's son, Redwan Mujib Siddique Bobby, his wife Pepi Siddique and their two children were with the Prime Minister at the time.
According to Singapore's custom since 1957, the local orchid has been named in the name of around 250 countries and head of government in the country, David Lim said. This is done to keep their tour memorable. 'Dendroobiam Sheikh Hasina' Orchid is now decorated in the showcase of the VIP Gallery of the Garden.
