Google Privacy Audit: How much do they know about YOU?

in #privacy7 years ago (edited)

The other day, I showed you how to audit and review the 3rd party privacy settings for Facebook. It discussed how to disable apps, websites and plugins from accessing your personal info. If you didn't see it, visit with the link below and be sure to upvote and resteem. It's time to take your privacy seriously.

Today, it's Google's turn.

1. Firstly, you can download all of your and see what Google stores on you. Might as well check it out.

4. Review your search activity and history from Google. Yeah, get ready for this....

5. Check out where you've traveled and how Google tracks your movement and location...pretty wild, eh?

Ok, once you've done that...lemme know! You should feel more in control and safer once you at least have an IDEA of what Google stores on you.

Also remember that Steem is an open blockchain that permanently stores data. Google and Facebook SAY that they let you delete your information...and maybe they do or don't. Content on Steem is stored in the Blockchain FOREVER. Remember that.

Ashe

You said right and now it's time to take the Privacy seriously and in my opinion most of the people never think about the permissions they ask from us before using service and apps and we move forward ignoring the permissions and we don't know how this privacy data used or stored and we just believing the words and brands but that's not the case. In my opinion to break our blind beliefs Facebook's recent issue is an great example. Thanks for sharing this informative post with us and wishing you an great day. Stay blessed. 🙂
