The easy solution to self voting is make self votes use up the same vote value as voting someone else's post, while only providing half the value, making those who abuse self votes, have to work harder, while providing incentive to those who already curate others posts to not start self voting.

Basically 100% vote on a post you authored would only have the rshare value of a 50% vote, while using up the 100% vote VP. Meaning 10 self votes are only equal to 5 votes. And from what I understand about VP, the lower it gets the less your votes matter in rshares, so maximizing those rshare values is essential to growth.
