Any beginner python developers on steemit: I found a great resource to learn!

in #programming6 years ago

Hi everyone.

I have been learning python for the last couple of months through Udacity and random short courses on youtube.
I recently stumbled up on this 26 part video series by Derek Banas on Youtube(). The videos are mostly 20 - 40 mins long

I have been following his videos for the last few days and I can safely say it has been the fastest way I have discovered to learn so far. Excellent videos where you learn by doing and watching him code. No time wasting in them he just gets down to business.

Highly Highly recommended if your a newbie or want a refresher

If you have any other resources that you would recommend I would love to hear from you in the comments

Cool!
I'll check that out tonight when I get a chance.

I'm getting back into coding again to give my kids a bit of head start before high school. I've been playing a game called Colobot with them. It's based loosely on C++ or javascript and gets you coding fairly fast. It's aimed at kids & they just play around and learn by osmosis, so hopefully something will sink in and they'll take something from it.
