THE RISE OF THE BLOCKCHAIN STARTUPS IN AFRICA
Since the emergence of the blockchain technology a lot of high valued company and influencial individuals have built useful tools that have advanced and progressed the original technology developed by Satoshi Nakomoto.
For a better part of a decade, large corporations were on the sidelines watching and waiting to see what will become of the blockchain but it was only recently they started seeing truly how revolutionary the technology is and how versatile its applications can be in our everyday life. From Elections down to medicine, the blockchain tech can be applied across a wide variety of sectors.
AFRICA HAS BEEN PLAYING CATCH UP
So far, Africa has been playing catchup on this tech and has little to show when it comes to contribution to this revolutionary tech. But this is changing and changing really fast, a lot of young African entrepreneurs are beginning to identify the role the blockchain tech can play in the lives of Africans and the world at large.
