Welcome to our Community Newsletter!

We believe in the positive impact that Steem can bring to people's lives. Even if it is a small change Steem has affected our lives by our new way of doing Social Media. In our community we have many talented and eager people who go the extra mile to help others, and create amazing works (together).

These people deserve to be put in the spotlights, that is why we have create a newsletter for our community, in which we showcase the initiatives and projects of our members and the creators themselves!

We hope that these newsletters will give a glance of all the beautiful movements that are happening within the Steem community.

Futurethinker and The Team

initiative of the week

The best initiatives on Steemit, are those that try and make the world a better place. When individuals rally around a cause to give back to the global community to help those less fortunate than themselves great things can happen. Promo-Mentors seeks to highlight these initiatives so others can contribute or see examples to guide them on their Steemit journey. Today we are highlighting one such initiative, Project Giving, the first Steemit NGO (Non-Government Organization) run by @tristanoliff in collaboration with @SndBox.

Project Giving is just getting off the ground but we can already see great things will be coming from this organization. Project Giving wants to bring awareness and financial support to other initiatives around the world that are trying to make a positive change in their local communities through the power of the STEEM blockchain and Steemit platform. Project Giving wants to use Steemit as a tool to share stories from around the world to highlight efforts to fight poverty, environmental threats, financial and social inequalities, or the lack of basic resources.

Project Giving will solicit applications from groups who are in need of financial assistance and help them bring their story to the Steemit Community. By giving these causes a global platform, they hope to bring awareness to a wider audience. Project Giving will also provide financial assistance to these initiatives based on the rewards earned from their posts. Although the program is just getting off the ground, Promo-Mentors is encouraging Project Giving by highlighting their initiative so they can bring their vison to reality.

Now, let me introduce you to a great contributor to the Steemit Community, an amazing writer @pandorasbox. Some of you might already know @pandorasbox as she has been very active since she came onto the platform 10 months ago.

Since her first post, where she began exploring her crypto journey, @pandorasbox has been providing quality crypto content ever since. Along the way, @pandorasbox also provides great advice on Steemit tools, Steemit concerns, and the future of Steemit.

If you are interested in Bitcoin, Ethereum, or crypto in general make sure and check out her blog. There is lots of great insights, frustrations, as well as introspections being presented. Let's give her some recognition and a shout out for the value she is bringing to the Steemit Community.
