What's the weather really like in Russia?. Is it true that some places are snowy all year round?.

Approx. 1/3 of territory is covered with deepfrozen soil ("eternal frost" in russian). But 70% of people live in places with european climate, maybe a little harsher. 15-20% of the rest in more continental where it could be -40 in winter and +35 in summer.

The myth of extreme cold started during two wars - Napoleonic and 2nd WW when armies unprepared to winter conditions march deep into russian territory and found themselves in quite a poor conditions. The result would have been the same in any other territory with such an approach.

Cool, never knew that.

Do spies meet-up in Gorky Park?

Their headquarters are on Lubyanka street.

Thank you. My question was rather tongue in cheek because the only thing I could think of momentarily was the movie by the same name. I think your group participation is a very good idea.

I also want to say thank you for owning up to the shortcoming of the roadmap.

As far as the predictions for the amount of business on the Steem blockchain that news is what drives me to keep pushing forward. Steem has only just begun. If there exists some base code maybe it could be made open to see if the community wanted to develop it.

Thank you for your attention. The project is not based on any software code yet. We also think that Steem is at the beginning. And we are happy to participate in this wonderful beginning together with you and all steemians.

Thank you much Sir...........

Я кстати тоже не знала о мифе при войне о погоде. Думалось, что в России лето даже прохладное).

Верно, лето тоже прохладное...и короткое(

What traditional dishes do you have in Russia ?

Borsch, shchi (cabbage soup), pancakes, pelmeni, vareniki, and of course vodka (the latter is not for everyone))).

Great idea! I love the initiative and to have a chance to learn more about the Russian people and country. From a young age I have always been fascinated by the beauty of the Russian language, the beauty of the land, the music... To me Russia holds a mysterious and poetic soul to be discovered. Yet at the same time, as a Canadian, I feel we share the same love for the north, it's nature, the winters... I have just so many questions but I will ask this one. I have always wanted to travel to Russia, but Russia is a big country, What are the different places I could visit to experience the most from every region, and discover the many facets of this great country? Of course I would like to visit Saint-Petersburg, Moscow and the famous Lake Baikal but what are the other beautiful places to visit that are not as well known?

In addition to the official response from the account, I would like to thank you for your interest in Russia, our nature and sights. With your question, the post will be published exactly and you will be able to read many answers. And, if you wish, you will find guide guides for the future, among our Russian commentators.

Hello,
There is a lot of propaganda against Russia in Sweden, especially in the mainstream media.
They are trying to make us accept NATO. I use alternative media and do not buy what they are selling.

I have a positive picture of Russia and Putin. I have also met many nice Russians traveling in Thailand.

What do Russians think of Putin?

Both positive and negative .....

Are they forced to vote for Putin?
