Finding Family in Diversity

When your own disregard you but you still love them unconditional and wish them the best. Your forced to move out and look for company maybe somebody out there will understand your peculiarity. This weekend was an interesting one, after moving around my faculty showing people what steemit is about. I headed to kampal with @jarauMoses to buy a phone for him. It has been awhile since he lost his smart phone 9 months back. He was able to buy this phone because of steemit, thanks to steemit community.

In town, a few faces stared in amusement to us as we moved around both in our T-shirts, we look smart together, dont we?

It was getting dark when we bumped into some guy who looked amused and looked liked he knew us. We stopped and he started. You guys i thought steemit was out there its here now. Have seen it on Facebook being promoted. He said jerry @jerrybanfield introduced it to him but he had not yet signed up yet. But when he saw us, his face lite up. I was happy because we had met somebody like us, family. We talked for hours about everything crypto bouncing from steemit and other platforms. We helped him sign up and showed him around. His waiting to approved.

To me, i see steemit as something that has saved me from staying hungry, missing lunch and dinner because i am short of cash, a platform where i have access to thoughtful knowledge, a community with togetherness; family. It has provided food for now but at some point i believe it will provide much more than just food. Thank you fellow steemians!!!
