For those that have followed the News these past 24 hours you will most likely be aware that #beeple sold a Digital Collage comprising of a back catalogue of 5,000 images as a NFT for an eye watering $69 million at Christie's Auction yesterday.

The piece titled THE FIRST 5000 DAYS sold for a jaw dropping and record breaking $69.3 million (42,329.453 ETH) and is massive news for #Steem.!!

Some of you may be wonder why.

As a breeding ground for Creative Content #Steem is perfectly positioned to capture up and coming Artists and Creative Talent showcasing their work and following in the footsteps of the Creator behind #beeple.

13 years of hard work in the making.!!

For those Artists who may be reading this thinking they stumbled upon a pot of gold, I am not saying for once that you would be able to create a $69 million masterpiece overnight, because what we have here is essentially 13 years of hard work in the making.
