"My Promo-Mentors Writing Challenge"
Good morning steemians
Good morning @gidionline

Good morning @futurethinker, this is your challenge, thanks for this; here is my entry.
*I HATED DOCTORS SO VERY MUCH DOCTORS AND EVERY OTHER PERSON THAT CAN PASS FOR A MEDICAL PERSONNEL*
**MY MOST MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE** Few years back I had an elder sister, an immediate elder sister. Her name was appiah, she didnt die when she was a kid or when she was a baby, rather she died in her teenage year. She was going to be 20 years of age that year but she didn't make it because she was battling with a kidney problem.
What still amazes me till today is the fact that she didn't die due to the Kidney problem as she was already fine and fit to be discharged three days from when we visited her at hospital. She died because of the carelessness of the doctors and the nurses at the hospital.
**HOW IT HAPPENED** The story of my younger sister appiah goes thus; Appiah, due to her condition was to be placed on a dialysis treatment, one in which a sort of needle was to be injected into her body and connected with the machine or sort, I don't know and can't explain it best because I was much younger at the time. All I heard was that the doctor placed it improperly and travelled without giving instructions for removal of the needle and so my poor little brother suffered with that needle till it broke inside his leg and it became swollen, before the nurses and whoever in that hospital could then listen to mummy's plea to take of that stuff after three days. The broken needle caused obstruction and clotting of blood, she couldn't breathe well and so she went into a coma and she died the next day.
From that moment on, *I hated Doctors because, they allowed my elder sister that was due to be released from the hospital die that same week. I hated doctors because my sister had to perform four different surgeries in four different years without diagnosing the real problem I hated doctors for making my dad suffer really bad for seven years and wasting money that was enough to see me through school for ten years without struggle I hated them for making mummy suffer every now and then sleeping in every hospital and throwing away her job for a child that never lived I hated doctors for taking away my play mate, my dancer, the brightest person I ever knew I hated doctors for leaving me with just one sibling left before an air crash took him also I hated doctors for taking my dad's life after that of my sister I hated doctors so much..*
But then I don't know how but God just helped us heal
And here am I having so much friends in the medical field and loving them so much that I can't believe their profession at anytime did disgust me.
**WHAT I LEARNED FROM THIS EXPERIENCE** People's proffession and background may have caused you so much harm in the past but look through and get to the person they are, with God by your side you will forget the hate and love them for who they really are.At a point in my life when I thought about loosing my sister brother and dad, I almost took my life as well, but I thank God I wasn't successful. Life experience has taught me that life would not always put smiles on your face, but it will prepare your for the frown so that at the end of the day, you will end up with smiles. RIP APPIAH; it's been 10 years already and I still love you even in death.
This is a story I have always wanted to share but somehow, I haven't been able to because I just couldn't
