Very few motorsport departments worldwide manufacture their own racing cars totally in-house, and Lamborghini Squadra Corse is one of these. The Super Trofeo Evo, manufactured on the same assembly line as the Huracán road version and the model designed for GT racing Huracán GT3, is planning to reach about 70 units by the end of 2018. Skilled and qualified technicians from the Motorsport department follow the racing Huracáns along each station to ensure maximum care in the assembly.

“The fact of building racing cars by applying the same model of the series production,” said Maurizio Reggiani, Chief Technical Officer of Automobili Lamborghini, “is a considerable added value. In this way, production times are reduced and the highest quality control standards are guaranteed, which, in the case of a racing car, translates into greater reliability on the track.”
