Lazy Gardener's dream food - Okinawan spinach (Gynura bicolor)
Just a quick note about how to grow additional Okinawan spinach plants from your original one (the easy way).
First, cut off a 15-20cm length of growing tip, take your phillips head screwdriver and jab it into the ground to the depth of your cutting, shove your cutting into the hole, then walk away.
(If you don't have a phillips head, a flat-head will do the job too).
Optional: Water several times in the first two weeks to get it going.
Then simply enjoy the abundance of a highly nutritious, pretty, weed-blocking, zero-maintenance plant that makes you want to dance when you eat it; seriously.
Be sure to rinse the screwdriver when you're finished ;)
I'm out.
