Psychic "Drive-by's" (a HUGE NO-NO)
I know that many people, especially when beginning the awakening process "newbies" (said with much love, because I was once there myself) are eager to pass along the info that they get. I am still just as eager to pass along some connections, some messages, but I always ask spirit to give me the ONE BIGGEST piece of info they can have validated. And a name if possible.
Then I say to the person, how open minded are you? Then if I get a positive response I will say I'm a psychic medium. I think I may have a connection for you, would you be interested in hearing what I have to say? If still positive response, I continue carefully. I always make sure I have time to answer questions, that I dont just zap em and run. If any negative response I just turn it into an off hand thought, or discussion about something "normal"...
I'll tell you why... one of the best stories I have heard, John Edward the world famous psychic medium told at one of his conferences I attended...
He was getting something to eat and a lady was behind him in line and her dad was coming in and all he had to say was tell Claire I said HAPPY BIRTHDAY. So he started having a convo w her and said is your name Claire by chance, and she said, yes, it is, how do you know that? (Creepy in NY) what are you psychic? And he said actually I am, and your dad just told me to tell you happy birthday. So it didnt hit her roght away, and she was kinda stunned and he didn't really take notice, and had to rush away with his food back to his event. So. When he was done, several hours later, he walks out those same doors and that Claire chick is standing there waiting for him. And he didn't really recognize her right away until she called his name, and he said hey, and she was like...
Was there anything else?
He said No, that is all I heard was tell her happy birthday in bold letters. She said well what are you getting now? And he said well, nothing. She was so heart broken looking and upset and he thought that he was doing a good thing. But it totally ruined her bday that he zapped her like that with out warning her, and then he didnt have time to make more of a connection with her. She hadn't had any contact with him for several years before he died, and she was angry over things that had happened in his life and was totally pissed that all he had to say was happy birthday.
Sometimes good intentions do not equal a good reading. ;)
