Why positive thinking won't get you anywhere?
So you've finally decided it's time to change your life for the better. Your first instinct is, of course, to rely on the positive thinking. That's, after all, what the self-help gurus are saying. Once you learn this simple, but life-changing technique, everything in your life will just magically fall into right place. Because with a power of positive thinking, how can you even fail? It's the best way, right? Wrong.
Because it won't be long until you realize that positive thinking alone will bring you nothing but temporary results. So for you to really change your life for the better, you need the other side of the coin. But first, let's unlock some mysteries of the mind, shall we?
What's the secret ingredient?
The answer lies within your subconscious mind, or rather its program, the belief system. Beliefs were once just mere thoughts, but now, they are the very essence of your being. This may sound pretty abstract, while in truth, the concept of beliefs is as practical as it gets.
But here's the thing: The power of subconscious mind alone won't get you far unless you combine it with the conscious intentions. Only then will you able to truly change your life. But first, let's discuss the difference between the two.
Conscious and subconscious mind
Logical thinking, decision making, as well as personal opinions are the features of your conscious mind. But the truth is that only 5% of your actions, thoughts, and feelings derive from this part of your mind. Ideally, you would be conscious of all your behaviors, emotions, and thoughts. However, in the modern, turbulent word, that's simply not possible and your conscious mind stores just what you need at a particular moment.
On the other hand, the subconscious part of your mind is a million times stronger when it comes to processing information. But despite the fact that it can process an enormous amount of data, the system works quite simple. Whatever is programmed must come to the surface.
The incredible power of the subconscious mind
Most people spend their lives not knowing how to improve. They are the prisoners of their beliefs. So how does one achieve freedom?
The answer is rather simple: You just need to substitute your old beliefs with some new ones. Know that your subconscious mind is not the enemy. It's just the tool you can use to make a real impact on this world. Accessing this part of your brain is the recipe of successful life. Only then will you be able to make that final leap of faith. And only then will you finally achieve full potential and make a first step towards a better life.
