father-daughter-relationship.jpgThere is nothing that can prepare you to lose a parent. It is a larger blow in adulthood even after marriage, I believe, because you are at the point where you are actually friends with your mother or father

I lost my father much unexpected exactly 2 years ago on his birthday. My father was the one person who could see into my soul and could call me out in the most effective way. He taught me what humanity, empathy and generosity means.

You cannot forget and be strong just instantly though everyone in your acquaintance will guide you same , I know it will never fully go away.

  1. My view of and on life is totally changed, I was going through tough time in my marriage and gradually when it started settling I lost my father to cardiac arrest and my mom's was diagnosed with cancer 3rd stage. This shooked my from core and made me realise nothing is permanent and as per your favour.

  2. Am stronger person . Life does go on, but there will be times even years later, you will still break down like it happened yesterday.

  3. Am sad coz my son won't be able to enjoy his grandfather company, He would have adored but In an odd way it has made me a better parent. I am always acutely aware of what memories can mean to my son and how I will impact his life while I am on this earth.

  4. Trading and spending time with people now has changed for me I try to spend more time with people to make memories but on other hand sometimes I avoid new people and memories with which afraid me that it'll make me weak when they are not around.

  5. Big life events are never ever the same again. My brother recently got married and we were full of joy but all this was not same as before the time we got married in presence of Dad.

2 years down there are still times that I reach for the phone when something exciting happens. Then it hits me; shit, I can’t call him.
His death have forever changed me and how I look at the world.
