PUBG BANNED IN NEPAL !!

Well, once again the government has decided to ban one more thing. This time the victim is the world-renowned game PUBG mobile. The decision was escalated when reports of physical and mental injury increased in the country as well as the neighboring country.

As we all know Nepal is known to ban things without proper study of the subject. Previously bitcoin was banned in the country and deemed illegal without giving us proper information why it was banned.
An even sillier decision was made last year when porn was banned. The reason given was that rape and women violence increased due to porn.

To be honest banning of porn made more sense than banning PUBG. In most cases of mental and physical injury, it was mostly young teens. The game can't be blamed when parents are providing a smartphone at a very early age. Today its PUBG, tomorrow there will be another game. So is banning every single one of them is the only thing our government capable of?

If banning of PUBG is justifiable, then ban Tik Tok as well. While they're at it, they can ban the Internet as well.

Thanks for sharing, @sizandyola. I’m currently in Nepal at the moment and I’ve seen plenty of kids playing these Battle Royale style games on their phones, so I can imagine how popular they are. Not into it myself, but I agree with you that it’s a shame that these types of things are banned with little thought.
