Emo Kids, Rejoice! New From First To Last ‘Surrender’ : Listen

The legendary electronic producer / DJ, who most people know today as Skrillex, will always be remembered as the face of Screamo in the early 2000’s. For those of you who don’t know, Sonny Moore was the front man of an emo band called From First To Last before he branded himself as Skrillex. He joined the band in 2004 as a 15 year old. Sonny has literally been touring and living off of music since he was 15. Between FFTL, Skrillex, and the countless collabs, writing, and production he’s done with other artists, his reach and influence is absolutely massive.

Sonny obviously has a knack for building cultures around his brands. It’s 14 years later and From First To Last fans are still super stoked about new tracks. Other bands have done it in the past, but not with the limited amount of shows and projects FFTL released.

They put out a surprise track in 2017 called ‘Make War’ and (as of the time this was written) it has 13,443,480 streams on Spotify and 109K on SoundCloud. This was accomplished from their heavy push through the digital platforms. It’s looking like their new song ‘Surrender’ is on a similar projection.
