For the years with Elbow Injury, Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger needs operation

in #qb5 years ago

The rest of the NFL season is without a beginner quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers because Ben Roethlisberger has finished this year. Roethlisberger requires seasonal surgery after not having suffered contact injuries in his right elbow at the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

Roethlisberger, 37, left the game for the first quarter of Sunday with only a few minutes remaining. He raised his elbow and clinked after throwing a pass. He never entered and quit the game. The Steelers did not announce the accident or information about Roethlisberger's next operation.

Substitute Mason Rudi showed up Sunday at Roethlisberg and finished 12 of 19 in the game 28-26, 112 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. The result should help Steel fans be more aware of Rudolph, as he is now the new beginner quarterback in Pittsburgh.
