Qilimanjaro: A way to revolutionize technology

Modern computers solve various extremely important issues. A real technology revolution took place. That revolution has changed our society. And quantum computations are absolutely inevitable in our modern conditions. For that reason, multiple giant companies and even some startups are engaged in the design of an operational quantum machine.

Quantum computations belong to a developing and thriving area. However, most of the prospective customers have no access to the centralized platforms.

It would be great if that cherished computation would become available for everyone, if there would be no need to buy a supercomputer for both businesses and individuals. Right now, there is a high competition in pursuit of Quantum primacy.

What is the gap between quantum and ordinary machines?

Ordinary computers are almost opposite to quantum ones. Let’s say, a three-bit storage register traditional computer can represent eight various information types, but on the other hand, it can render just one of all 8 possible statuses concurrently.

A quantum system having similar parameters, for example, a photon having two polarization states for representing 1 or 0, is able to exist as one of these 8 states, but also in a linear combination of each of the possibilities.

Quantum computer is a peculiar system created for solving a peculiar problem. Traditional computers, in turn, are limited in their potential.

Some calculations which seem to be totally impossible to do with an ordinary computer can be computed with the help of a quantum machine. Quantum machines have another advantage over conventional machines. They use significantly less energy for running effectively. For example, a quantum superconducting circuits-based machine has to operate at a very cold temperature (-273.14 ºC). The dilution refrigerator cools it. While reaching that temperature, a certain amount of energy is needed. However, as soon as it is reached, a quantum computer consumes a very small energy amount. The size of the quantum machine doesn’t influence the amount of the energy to be consumed for reaching very low temperatures. Thus, the quantum computers save too little energy and power, unlike conventional machines.

The Qilimanjaro project renders a concept of an ecosystem which supports the creation of global companies. The commercial application of quantum machines is still in progress. For that reason, it will give you lots of benefits when investing in that new field at the early stage of its development.

Various processes connected with machine learning, scientific investigations, and data analyzing require processing huge amounts of various information. That’s what the Qilimanjaro quantum machine will be able to cope with. It will analyze and perform very difficult tasks very easily, the tasks, which are impossible for conventional machines. Quantum technology has a very serious potential and it is still at the very beginning of its path. Very soon, quantum algorithms will change the existing cryptographic protocols and will solve multiple optimization issues within the shortest timeframes. Thanks to it, both individuals and businesses will have almost a free access to innovative quantum machines for reaching their goals easier.

The designers are going to create a quantum computer with an affordable access for almost anyone and offer a software service adapting ordinary problems into quantum algorithms.

The platform supposes to develop users’ community, in which all the contributions have to be rewarded and where the quantum software ecosystem will be empowered.
