I need help for some clarification
Hi Steemit Community,
I'm a newbie on this platform, I need your help for clarify a doubt, can Steemit be used for promote an external site or an online petition? I wanna be sure of don't violate the Steemit's rule, so I prefer asking your help rather then be flagged for a noncompliant post.

Well, you can! It will be a good idea to create a post describing your stand on that petition or your affiliation or testimonial for any other website you want to promote and insert the link to the site in question asking readers to click it for the objective or utility you see in that. Now promote your post under promoted tab or by purchasing some whale vote. That's it!

I'm not sure, I know they don't like spam or posting other people's work, but I recommend posting if this under "steem" or "steemit" and the people there are very helpful. I will resteem to see if anyone has the answer.
