The relationship with technology for myself is a solid love/hate thing. While all this new fangled tech we're accustomed to is basically what my life and career is centered around the fact of the matter is it's great when it works... and terrible when it's not! The modern world crashes to a stand still when computer systems or the software running on them decides to crap out..!
Think if the internet and computer systems we have in place now were all knocked out by a coronal-mass ejection or world wide EMP event, my bets is than less than a week you see a "zombie apocalypse" style event happen.. People eating people and such, however no real zombies.. Just people trying not to starve to death.

AI is scary
What we don't know well is always scary !
But i think we must not go too far with AI at least with our actual knowledge of it.
I like to set myself a day where I don't use any technology, so that I can recharge my attention level and go old-school with some books and whatnot.

I've basically tethered myself to the net and tech. Good on ya though.
Hahaha it's not that painful though. I used to feel the same way before trying it out. But when I did do it, I felt peaceful and calm for once!

Hmmm you are absolutely right, I always try hard to move my self away from these things especially with the net but its absolutely impossible.

Technology is a heaven-sent virtue of humanity as it really helps me now in my medical condition plus in so many ways and if not for the Internet I will be dead by now. @klye
